A Year-Round Playground

Our namesake and historic heart, Highland Park is a massive, 28-acre urban green space located at the southwest corner of the neighborhood. Established in 1873, the four-season park features plentiful amenities, including walking/cross-country skiing trails, sledding hills, a pollinator garden, a splash pad and playground, a ball diamond and soccer field, and a regulation disc golf course. The park hosts public and private events year-round.

“I’m always amazed at how big the park is when I visit. The lawns are kept up nicely and there is a group of neighbors who pick up trash in the park to keep it nice for visitors and residents.”
